## Abstract ## BACKGROUND Hydatidiform mole (HM) is classified into partial (PHM) and complete (CHM) subtypes according to histopathologic and genetic criteria. Traditionally, it is believed that PHM carries a better prognosis and rarely develops metastasis. However, making a distinction between P
