## Abstract Three methods, Shuffled Complex Evolution (SCE), Simple Genetic Algorithm (SGA) and Microโ€Genetic Algorithm (ยตGA), are applied in parameter calibration of a gridโ€based distributed rainfallโ€“runoff model (GBDM) and compared by their performances. Ten and four historical storm events in th
