✦ Synopsis
The asymmetric quadrupole rotor energy predictions, taking into account the interactions of the rotations with the beta vibrations, are compared with experimental results. The agreement between experiment and theory is good for nuclei with R e (14+) = [E. (14+)/ E.(12+)J ;;;;; t. Even parity energy levels of nuclei with R e (14+ } < t are not explained adequately.
