## Abstract **BACKGROUND:** In this study, differences in contents of phenolic compounds and fatty acids in pecan kernels of organically __versus__ conventionally grown pecan cultivars (Cheyenne, Desirable, and Wichita) were evaluated. **RESULTS:** Although nine phenolic compounds (gallic acid, ca
