Abstract
The power radiated by a line source per unit length, surrounded by a double‐negative (DNG) material is analytically found and compared with that obtained in case of a double‐positive (DPS) material. Results indicate that the presence of significant increase in the radiated power with a shift in resonance. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
