✦ Synopsis
Objective. -To determine the efficacy of Mycoderm lotion (Artemisia sieberi essential oil) in treating Pityriasis versicolor and comparing its effects with clotromazole lotion. Material and methods. -Sixty-eight patients, 34 males and 34 females, were enrolled in this study. The disease was confirmed by standard mycological method; direct microscopic examination. The patients randomly divided into two groups, which treated with Mycoderm and clotrimazole lotions twice daily for two weeks and then followed up for two weeks.
