โฆ Synopsis
{Eingegangen ant 18. 3. 60) Enteric infections still occupy an important place i n the pathology and health problems of this country. Many laboratories examine methods which would promote the possibilities of the detection of the causative microorganisins in sewage [4, 5 , 8, 101.
In the foreign literature more and more frequently we find authors recommending methods b y using membrane filters [l, 2, 3, 41. I n this country ~(ERNOZUBOV and others [9] have published results obtained by evaporation. I made an attempt at examining the respective advantages of each of these procedures by comparative investigations.

The performance of three iterative algorithms developed for the construction of type-Ill (statistical) Padรฉ approximants is compared with that of two general minimization methods. All the methods are tested in detail for simulated data derived from a simple model function as well as for a realistic
