voltammetry was applied to the characterization of L.aNi,-type alloy electrodes with and without a Pd-plated layer, with special intention of obtaining some mechanistic information of the oxidation of absorbed hydrogen. As a result, this technique is found to be available not only for examining such alloy electrodes elcctrochemically but also estimating the equilibrium pressure of hydrogen in alloys from a chemical point of view.
