## Abstract Zearalenone (ZEN) is a fusarotoxin converted predominantly into α‐zearalenol (α‐Zol) and β‐zearalenol (β‐Zol) by hepatic hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases. The feeding of naturally contaminated grains with ZEN was associated with hyperestrogenic and adverse effects on humans and animals. Th
