The Upchurch Scientific Conductive Perfluoroelastomer Ferrule is suitable for electrospray applications. As with graphite ferrules, a voltage can be applied through a metallic port block or directly through a stainless steel nut, and hence through the ferrule to the flow path. However, in contrast to most graphite ferrules, its elastomeric properties permit frequent re-use. Any possible graphite contamination of the system is also eliminated. Upchurch Scientific,
