## Abstract A novel multiband inverted‐L (IL) antenna, intended for use in a universal serial bus (USB) dongle, is proposed. The internal antenna that we designed consists of an L‐shaped zeroth‐order resonator (ZOR) and a folded first‐order IL element, and has a compact volume of 30 Γ—15 Γ—7 mm. The
