## Abstract In this article, a series of compact dual‐band bandpass filters are proposed using the stepped‐impedance stub loaded hexagonal stepped‐impedance resonator. The resonator has three functions in the filter as follow: (1) dual‐resonances operation introduced by the first‐ and second‐resona
