Integrated dual-band LTCC FEM has been designed, fabricated, and characterized for IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN SOP applications. The fabricated LTCC FEM is composed of a diplexer and two BPFs. The FEM has insertion losses of Οͺ2.8 and Οͺ48 dB in operating frequency ranges 2.4 -2.5 GHz and isolation of Οͺ3.5 and Οͺ48 dB in 5.725-5.825 GHz, respectively. The fabricated LTCC FEM for DWLAN will be useful for minimizing the size and volume of WLAN card, which is needed for advanced handsets, mico-PDA, wireless home network, and wireless consumer electronic products such as wireless TV, wireless projector, and wireless internet refrigerator.
