โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Crossโcoupled hairpin filter design using electricalโcoupling with asymmetric feed on ceramics was reported. The bandโpass filters are designed at center frequency of 2.0 (GHz) with bandwidth of 10%. In addition, this article presents an analytical technique for positioning the locations of two transmission zeros for a microstrip bandโpass filters. The bandโpass filter uses two resonators with two transmission zeros to obtain lower insertion loss than a conventional crossโcoupled microstrip filter. Also, by using high Q, high permittivity dielectric materials as substrates, the filters demonstrate high selectivity, compact size, and can be used in many wireless communication systems. A bandwidth of 10% with โ0.75 dB insertion loss and โ34 dB attenuation was achieved with chip size of 2.5 ร 0.85 cm^2^. ยฉ 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, a compact bandpass filter using folded /4 coupled-line resonators is presented. An accurate model is made by using an efficient analytic design approach. Equations for extraction of the equivalent parallel-coupled-line structure representing the folded-line section are developed. A si
