✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel bandpass filter using modified compact microstrip resonant cell (CMRC) and double‐sided parallel‐strip line is proposed in this article. On the basis of the modified CMRC resonator, the proposed filter has compact size. Moreover, this filter obtains a low insertion loss and sharp rejection. A demonstration filter was designed, fabricated and measured. Theoretical and experimental results are presented and show good agreement. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract We present a 6th order pseudo high‐pass filter implemented by a modified version of the double‐sided parallel‐strip line, in which the width of the dielectric substrate is identical to the width of the conducting strips. The filter, the associated compact circular balun, and the SMA con
