This chapter describes a successful collaboration between high school and community college faculty to reduce the need for remediation in the writing of entering community college students. After participating in Ohio's Early English Composition Assessment Program, which addresses access and preparation of students for college, the authors describe the model they used that led to three years of successful collaboration, outline future efforts, and make recommendations.
