✦ Synopsis

We suggest a new approach to the generation of polyphase CDMA transmission codes based on ergodic properties of Bernoulli shifts. The method provides codes with remarkable spread spectrum performance and good auto-and crosscorrelation characteristics. There is virtually no restriction on the number and length of the available code sequences. ᭧ 1998 Academic Press
