The Iaser and fluorescence behavior was studied for the mixed dye system contairdng various concentrations of 3,3'ðylthiacarbocyanine iodide and rhodamine 6G. A new way of confming the occurrence of energy transfer is presented on the basis of the reabsorption effect.

β¦ Synopsis
Kinetic analysis of an energy transfer dye laser is presented. 'lie laser gain function depends on the molecular parameters and on ?he concentrations of both the donor and acceptor. For the lo? signal limit the gain shows linear dependence on either the donor or the acceptor concentrations for a fixed donor-acceptor concentration ratio. This behavior has been confmed experimentally.
Excitation of a dye laser thronEh energy transfer processes have been studied in some systems [l-3] .

The synergic effects which are generally invoked to account for the specific features of a system of two ketones used as polymerization photoinitiators are reconsidered. The increase in reactivity observed when mixing these two initiators is reinterpreted in terms of a simultaneous energy and electr
A theory of a desorption induced by an infrared laser 1s developed. The laser excites an anharmonic molecule to the fust exctted level and higher vibrational levels are achieved by mtermolecular energy transfer. Once the molecu!z: is extired to the higher levels It may desorb. It 1~. shown that a fr
