β¦ Synopsis
The possibility of studying multicompartmental stochastic models by means of marginal univariate distributions is discussed. In addition, an approximation proposed in the literature is analysed.

The purpose of this note is to give a counterexample to a possible implication of the main result of the above paper [1].
problem of least-squares state estimation of stochastic continuous-time linear systems is reconsidered. A concise derivation of the least-squares minimal-order estimator is presented using an innouations approach. An important result is the reinstatement of the problem in a least-squares estimation
This paper describes a new method of state estimation for a stochastic sound system when the observation system is non-linear and quantized. The method is based on a generalized statistical linearization technique, with use of the two-sided Laplace transform. The non-linear quantized observation sys
