The trend in the NGSF-a curve is different from the original data of [I], however, there is still a discrepancy to the curves applying eqn (7). Obviously the FE results of Mishra and Parida are not very accurate.
In conclusion the paper of Mishra and Parida applies an incorrect instability criterion, which in addition is never fulfilled for the tension plate.
