Comment on Hjørland's Concept Theory I agree with most of what Hjørland (2009) has to say, but would suggest that a quite different conclusion can be drawn from his arguments. I focus on three areas of disagreement: the goals of scholarly research, strategies for reducing ambiguity, and how information science is the answer.
