A time-series forecasting procedure is employed by Firat and Güngör (2007) on the basis of adaptive neurofuzzy inference system (ANFIS). It has been shown that ANFIS is applicable successfully for such a purpose providing high accuracy and reliability in time-series modelling. However, it is necessary to consider physical facts in its use, otherwise misinterpretations might arise in its fuzzy logic (FL) parts.
