Gaemers's technique for recovering a function f(x) from its power moments p.,, = J 0 Tf(x)x" dx specified at ,0 , 1, 2 N, is rederived using an expansion in Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind. Advantages of the present derivation over the original one are pointed out.
