Hydriding Combustion Synthesis for the Production of Hydrogen Storage Alloy. -The direct synthesis of Mg2NiH4 from powders of the elements is studied. It is found that this typical hydrogen storage alloy can be rapidly prepared by heating a Mg/Ni powder compact under a H2 pressure of 2 MPa. This me
