✦ Synopsis
Phase transrtions of deovychohc acid have been evammed by studying systems whrch form a clathrate dunng crystalbzatron. It has been shown that, dependmg upon the type of solvent molecule present, the deovychohc acrd clathrate may or may not form a thermotropic hquid crystal. In thus manner, the sunultaneous occurrence of both lyotropm and thermotropm effects was observed
