In this paper, we consider the combined effect of group ¨elocity and group-¨elocity dispersion mismatches on the performance of a two-channel wa¨elength-di¨ision multiplexing soliton system. We show that these two effects, usually disregarded in the literature, should be accounted for in the analysis of multichannel soliton communication systems operating near the zero-dispersion wa¨elength.
