✦ Synopsis
A numerical technique based on a combination of the conformal mapping and finite-difference methods is used to e¨aluate ( ) quasistatic parameters of the supported coplanar wa¨eguides SCPWs . The con¨ergence rate of the finite-difference analysis is accelerated with the use of the proposed grid-generation method.

A W-shaped microshield coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (CP CPW), which is a new type of CP CPW, is proposed. Closed-form expressions are presented for calculating the quasistatic parameters of this coupled structure by using conformal mapping techniques. The effect of the W-shaped conductor back
This paper presents a general group of formulas by a ( ) combination of conformal mapping and 2-D FDTD CF᎐FDTD . By this new method, the cutoff wa¨enumbers and dispersi¨e characteristics of higher order TE modes in an eccentric coaxial line are gi¨en. A comparison of numerical results is presented.
## Abstract A combined approach of the finite‐element and boundary‐element methods is formulated for the analysis of arbitrarily shaped discontinuities in a grounded slab waveguide. In this approach, the discontinuity region is divided into two regions. One is a finite region with arbitrary inhomog
## Abstract In this article, we apply compact finite difference approximations of orders two and four for discretizing spatial derivatives of wave equation and collocation method for the time component. The resulting method is unconditionally stable and solves the wave equation with high accuracy.
