✦ Synopsis

Overview: Renee Simons has played many different roles in her life: wife, working mother of two, amateur auto mechanic to the family VW Bug, vet to a mixed-breed german shephard named Billy (short for Wilhelm) and Fiver, a mostly bearded collie rescue mutt named after the hero rabbit in Watership Down; an unlicensed home decorator and often questionable cook (ask her marketing director son and medical examiner daughter about her spaghetti pie - ugh.) She enjoys painting, photography, swimming, music and travel. She began her first romance novel (forever unfinished) while in college. As a life-long writer who took those skills for granted, she recalls her earliest ambition to be a painter, but now concentrates on painting pictures with words. "The best of both worlds," she says. "Life is good."
