β¦ Synopsis
Colour terminal
Ramtek's RM-6212 Colorgraphic Computer Terminal has eight times the colour selection, 25 times the vector-writing speed and more than twice the resolution of Ramtek's earlier RM-6200A.
It interfaces via serial asynchronous communicationΒ’ with any host computer using RS232C. Resolution is 640 x 480 pixels, with an option for 640 x 512 pixels. Four refresh memory planes controlled by a userprogrammable video look-up table display up to 16 colours selected from 64 or eight colours plus either alphanumeric overlay or blink. The look-up table als6 performs film-loop anima-ti6n and raster smoothing by software.
It uses CGL (Colorgraphic Programming Language), has variable character sizes, local subroutines, and solid colour fill capability for complex shapes.
