โฆ Synopsis
A colour display system for IBM CAD/CAM users is being launched by International Applied Systems. The Model 2100 CAD-Colorgraphics system is a result of a development and marketing a2reement between IAS and CADAM Incorporated, a subsidiary of Lockheed Corporation. (Lockheed's CADAM system runs on IBM equipment.) Resolution of the system display is up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. Up to 16 colours may be displayed simultaneously on the screen, from a palette of 64. The workstation also includes alphanumeric and CADCAM function keyboards, and a light pen.
The single quantity price for a basic system is $69 950.
