The authors have written a very nice, brief text which accomplishes what the title describes, a description of the use of lasers in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. The layout of chapters is quite good and the illustrations are excellent. This book is appropriate for the individual who is interested in the basics of the clinical uses of lasers.
