โฆ Synopsis
This book has been designed for the use of student8 who are rending for the U.Sc. degree in Indian universities, and contains much inforniation on the mjnernl resources nnd the industries of thnt country. In the main the subject-matter is bnsed on the periodic clnssificntion of the elements, the first rhnpter being devoted to n discussion of the system. In nddition to the usual fentureu of thin type of book, special consideration is given to rnetnllurgical processes and to the prepnrntion of inorganic colloids, whilst the history of the development, of inorganic chemistry is oritlined in an nppendis. I n spite of it8 good qualities, the book (which han been printed and published in India) is not 80 pleasing 0s those standard works which are produced in our own country. The printing and the binding are unattractive, and the phraseology leaves much to be desired.
