โœฆ Synopsis


Ionization processes in colIisions of thaIhum bromide and aerodynamicaIIy accelerated xenon and krypton have been studied by the crossed-beam method. Absolute cross sectjons for positive ion production were measured. Mass spectrometric analysis revealed that the positively charged products consisted of 'PI+. TIXe* (no TIKrf was observed) and TlzBr+, whose relative yieIds varied with the relative energies of the collidants.
