Collective excitations in semiconductor superlattices are studied beyond the randomphase approximation (RPA). The Singwi, 'Tosi, Land and SjΓΆlander (STLS) theory, which accounts for exchange and short-range correlations effects through an effective potential depending on the structure factor, is gen
