I've been dying to get to Fleur, honestly. That coma thing was just a way for me to skip a worthless year, and normally, I wouldn't have DONE it, except I knew it would come out of left field and take you by suprise. And when a fanfiction author has a chance to deviate from the beaten path, it's much too good to pass up. Becuase in the case of Harry Potter, that path is very, very beaten.
To adress some concerns; Dumbledore knew it would be bad for the public image if Harry was so integrated into Potter life. So he emancipated him. Harry's still a Potter, and still lives in the Manor, just he can't withdraw from the family coffers anymore. He's a legal adult, and the family vaults are only accesable by the heads of family and heir, IE Henry.
