β¦ Synopsis
We propose a mechanism for several unexpected particle production phenomena observed recently in high energy collisions and characterized by very low transverse momenta or intermittency-type fluctuations in longitudinal rapidity.
It is based on a QCD parton shower model extended to very soft partons, leading to the formation of globs of very cold, nonther-ma1 quark-gluon plasma.

## Abstract A strongly coupled plasma of quark and gluon quasiparticles is studied by combination of Path integral Monte Carlo and quantum Wigner dynamics simulations. This method extends previous classical nonrelativistic simuβlations based on a color Coulomb interaction to the quantum regime. Fir
