The centrally acting cholinesterase inhibitor tacrine was compared with three nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonists for their abilities to enhance performance of mature adult macaques performing a computer-automated version of the delayed matching-to-sample (DMTS) task. All four drugs en
