✦ Synopsis

Polarized neutron experiments have been performed on Ce,Sn, and Ce,Sn,, superstructures of the cubic intermediate valence compound CeSn,. The Ce atoms occupy two sites: the magnetization maps evidence that Ce,, which is similar to the Ce in CeSn,, is non-magnetic and that all the magnetization is present around the Ce,, atoms.
