✦ Synopsis

Concentrations of cocaine ranging from 0.00008 to 0.00882% were found in herbarium specimens of seven of eight species of the genus Erythroxylum that were examined by GLC. A sample of E. coca which was a t least 44 years old contained 0.03% cocaine.
