This

note draws attention to the possibility of a deep connection between COBE measurement, the recent results of Cantorian-fractal spacetime and cosmic strings. Our conclusion is that all three lines of research seem to confirm the big bang scenario and relate to a gamma-like distribution function revealing a link to a common statistical and thermodynamical origin.
