โœฆ Synopsis

For the propagating mode, the field is evanescent outside the dielectric. We expect the field to be very small when it reaches the PEC boundary. The difference in higher frequency is because the mesh in SOM is not as dense as that in finite-difference method.

4. CONCLUSION

In this paper, the waveguide problems have been solved using the support operator method (SOM). The discrete operators in the SOM preserve the critical properties of the continuum differential operators. Important properties, such as energy conservation and a divergence-free solution, always hold. This prevents spurious modes in the solution. Finally, the complexity analysis shows that this algorithm is very efficient.

Coplanar waveguide-fed dual rectangular ceramic dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) with inductively coupled slots are experimentally investigated. A double bandwidth is identified by comparing the antenna with a single dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). Input impedance can be easily matched by us
