## Abstract **Summary:** The synthesis of well‐defined uniform and spherical sub‐micron polymeric spheres, specifically poly[styrene‐__co__‐(glycidyl methacrylate)] (PSGMA) with a uniform size distribution and surface chemical functionality, is described. It is shown that the surface can be modifie
