Eaton is a global corporation with a number of divisions covering aerospace, automotive, electrical and hydraulic fluid power. This purchase is an addition to the aerospace division capabilities, and is a strategic acquisition to further the firm's objective to become a higher value hydraulics, fuel, lubrication and air distribution systems supplier. With the recent acquisition of Fluid Sciences and two other aerospace businesses, HiTemp and Stanley Aviation from Cobham, the company has considerably strengthened its ability to provide complete hydraulic, fuel, lubrication or pneumatic systems to the major aerospace companies.
