✦ Synopsis
The coadsorption of CO and C&I, on the Pd( 110) surface has been stu&ed by usmg low-energy electron dlffractlon (LEED), high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) and thermal desorptlon spectroscopy (TDS) A (3 x 2) LEED pattern 1s observed for the (CO + C2H,)-coadsorbed Pd ( 1 IO) surface The (3 x 2) pattern IS not observed for pure CO or C$L, adsorbed on the Pd( 110) surface, and thus It 1s attnbuted to the mixed structure of the adsorbed CO and C2H4 A structural model of the Pd(l10)(3~2)-(CO+C2H4)surfacelsproposed
