✦ Synopsis
sisting three square elements of same size with patch sizes varying from 5.5 to 13 mm were measured using a waveguide simulator and the obtained phase values are in the range of ϩ167°to Ϫ178°. The measured results using the waveguide simulator and the simulated results exhibit a close match with the results available in literature. The simulations using the rectangular-box structure and master-slave approach for planewave incidence were performed using HFSS and the reflected-phase values for different patch sizes were carried out.
