Abstract

The unequal Wilkinson power dividers using flexible and miniaturized lumped‐elements are proposed in this article. First, two kinds of lumped‐elements structures including Pi‐network and T‐network are developed as the transformers between two different resistances. Then the closed‐form design method for the proposed power dividers based on these transformers is presented. Furthermore, the frequency characteristics of some examples are simulated according to the calculated results got by the closed‐from design method. Finally, three types of circuit layouts are fabricated to realize the lumped‐element unequal Wilkinson power dividers flexibly. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
