โœฆ Synopsis

Aggressive and/or corrosive media are conveyed in the chemical indus try predominantly by seal-less pumps. In particular, there is an increased tendency towards magnetic coupling pumps. In 1987, magnet-drive pumps accounted for just 1~ 15 percent of lTT Richter Chemie~ Technik's pump turnover, but by 1994 it had reached 60 percent. A magnetic drive close, coupled pump recently completed the production range oft his manufacturer.

Chemical pumps for corrosive, toxic or other critical media are subject to particularly strict standards in relation to operating safety, sealing integrity and service life. For these reasons there is a noticeable trend towards seal-less pumps --and particularly towards magnetic coupling pumps.

Based on the thousands of magnetic-drive MNK (DIN 24256/ISO 2858) pumps it has installed, ITl" Richter Chemie-Technik developed a close-coupled chemical pump for performances of up to 30 kW and maximum flow rates of 80 m3/h (delivery heads of up to 62 m).
