✦ Synopsis

Single cell suspensions were prepared from the choroids of adult rabbit eyes using Pronase digestion, gentle pipetting and centrifugation. When diluted and inoculated into medium F12 supplemented with 5% fetal bovine serum and 10% rabbit serum, the choroid cell suspensions yielded large, healthy colonies with an average plating efficiency of about 45%. The growth in culture of a large portion of the cells from a normal non-embryonic tissue opens new possibilities for the study of cellular differentiation i n v i h o .

## Abstract The type II pulmonary epithelial cell is the recognized site of surfactant synthesis and storage. Four endothelial cell clones derived from adult bovine aorta were examined with respect to their proliferative characteristics in vitro. Three of these clones, derived in the absence of fibroblast growth factor (FGF), displayed variable basal proliferative rates. One of these non-FGF derived clones

## Abstract The mutational inactivation of transforming growth factor β receptor type II (__TGFBR2__) occurs in ∼30% of colon cancers and promotes the formation of colon cancer by inhibiting the tumor suppressor activity of the TGFB signaling pathway. __TGFBR2__ mutations occur in >90% of microsate
