✦ Synopsis
A thre e -year-old female Shi Tzu was presented for a preanaesthetic evaluation before ova r i e c t o m y. The dog was alert and in good physical condition. Complete clinical examination did not re veal any abnorm a l i t y.
Ec h o c a rd i o g raphically cardiac morphology and kinetics we re n o rmal, except for an anechoic stru c t u re adjacent to the left atrium and continuous with the right atrium (Fi g . 1 a).
