โฆ Synopsis
The 'Clearinghouse' lists papers that may be of interest to the readers of the Journal of Forecasting. These papers are ones that have not been published elsewhere. They may be working papers, internal reports, or papers presented at conferences.
The purposes of the 'Clearinghouse'are to help authors to 'stake a claim' with their work and to help them to communicate with other researchers. For the readers, it provides early notice about work in process and also about work that may appeal to only a small subset of readers. Finally, the 'Clearinghouse' provides a forum for highly controversial work, where the normal publication channels may prove resistant.
To participate in the 'Clearinghouse', authors must be willing to provide copies of the report at no more than the cost for duplicating and mailing. Send a copy of the paper and provide the following information on one page, double spaced: (a) Title (b) Date (c) Author(s) (d) (e) (f)
